Double W Racing has teamed with Casper Racing to explore

possibilites of preparing an entry in the Lake El Paso 180 a

desert race in western Texas in March 2007. "We are presently

waiting on details as to what classes are offered and what

sanctioning body will govern this race." team member Vern

had to say upon this announcement. Casper Racing's Don Ponder

brings a wealth of experience to the team with multiple runs in the

now defunct Mint 400 and even a team entry in the famous Baja

2000 race, he presently campaigns a Pro Lite entry in CORR and is

looking forward to the 2007 season with WSORR. This combined with

Team Double W's record of 5 straight MAORA championships will produce

a formidable entry for a run in the desert.

Web Cam Racing Cams has announced they will sponsor Double W Racing

for the 2007 MAORA season and also for the Team Double W/Casper Racing

entry in the upcoming "El Paso 180" in March.
